Germany’s Center Parcs Park Bostalsee Celebrates 10th Anniversary
(eap) Exactly ten years ago, the then fifth Center Parcs (CP) holiday park in Germany was opened near the Saarland municipality of Nohfelden at Bostalsee (we reported on this in EAP issue 5/2013). In the meantime, with the holiday park in Allgäu (opening: 2018), there are a total of five CP facilities on German soil, and a sixth one is currently being built on the Baltic Sea (planned opening: 2026). To mark the anniversary, the park is holding a big celebration tomorrow with an open house day and free admission for everyone.
“It is a great honor and huge pleasure for us that our guests are as enamored with our park at Bostalsee as we are. It is the nicest kind of confirmation of our work and motivates us all the more to continuously develop further. A lot has already changed here in the last few years, but we are not done yet. We still have some interesting projects in the pipeline for the future to optimize the stay at Park Bostalsee,” says Esther Puma, General Manager at Center Parcs Bostalsee.
In concrete terms, digitization in the park is to be expanded by February 2024, so that in the future guests will have access to the vacation homes, the “Aqua Mundo” swimming paradise, the lockers and other leisure facilities by a smart wristband. In addition, these wristbands will also enable contactless payment in the park. Moreover, the renovation of all 500 holiday homes at Bostalsee is also scheduled for 2024, including a new design, new color scheme and new furniture. Cost factor: nine million euros. Furthermore, the indoor gaming hall “Gametown” is also planned to be renewed and increased in size at the beginning of 2024.
