Gondorf/Germany: New Mascots Launched at Eifelpark
After the takeover of Gondorf, Germany’s Eifelpark by Alexander Goetzke and Nadine Löwenthal (we reported on this in EAP news from 7 Nov 2013) last year, renovation and remodeling works are being carried out now throughout the park. The park’s new mascots, two bears, which are there to build an emotional bridge to young and old park guests, was presented to the public last week. When the time came to choose names for the two bears, the public was called to submit its proposals. The two bears, called “Purzel” and “Tatze”, will await the visitors during the main season starting on April 5, 2014. The wild life park section has been open daily since November. (eap)
