Hersbruck/Germany: Fackelmann Therme Keeps its Name

Since the beginning of this year it has been official that Germany’s Fackelmann Therme in Hersbruck (near Nuremberg) is able to continue to trade under its company name until 2019. The early extension of the agreement granting the option for another extension was concluded by CEO Alexander Fackelmann, mayor Robert Ilg and CEO of the Fackelmann Therme, Karlheinz Wölfel. Thanks to the financial support of the Hersbruck-based company Fackelmann, known for the production and sale of household aids, the expansion of the sauna area of the facility can be brought forward. Opened in 2004, the Fackelmann Therme bathing and wellness complex celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. An increase of four to ten percent in visitor numbers in 2013 is another reason to celebrate. Visitors will be able to expect various special offers throughout the year. (eap)
