Holiday Park Starts into 2023 Season with New Water Playground
The Holiday Park in Haßloch (Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany), which belongs to the Plopsa theme park group, has started into this year’s season. In addition to the familiar attractions, younger visitors can look forward to a new water playground in the style of the “Super Wings” children’s series. This is adjacent to the “The Beach” themed area and features several water slides and various water effects. A total of 3.5 million euros was invested in the attraction, which was implemented by the Dutch company iPlay Water Attractions. From an outside temperature of 17-degrees (Celsius), the water playground is available for splashing around.
Holiday Park will also be investing in new attractions in the coming years – a total of 65 million euros will be spent on the planned expansion. In 2024, a themed ride based on the “The Smurfs” TV series is scheduled to open, for the following year a new themed area based on the famous Tomorrowland music festival including a large-scale attraction are planned. Furthermore, the park wants to expand its offer with a hotel in “Maya the Bee” style and its own water park.
