Hygiene Extension for Electric Commercial Vehicles

(eap) The electric commercial vehicles of the manufacturer Cenntro can now be ordered with the food extension “Trans-Clean^®”. After the company had recently launched a product specifically for the high demands of the food industry with refrigerated bodies for individual Cenntro models, all available Cenntro vehicle models can now be equipped with the hygiene extension in cooperation with the German specialist for plastic coatings Goliath Trans-Lining. The extension for food logistics complies with the requirements of the EU Regulation 852/2004 on food hygiene as well as the HACCP standards for food transport and is recommended by the Bundesverband der Lebensmittelkontrolleure Deutschlands e.V. (BVLK) as a load compartment extension to ensure food safety during transport.

The coating is applied by Goliath Trans-Lining in the new vehicles under high pressure and pre-tempered and bonds firmly within a few seconds, creating a joint-free surface with rounded corners and edges. In addition, an Easy-Clean-Floor is applied to the floor, which smoothes out any unevenness and dries easily. This means that the loading area can be optimally cleaned, and the low weight of the coating has no significant impact on the range of the electric transporters, as the company states. ■
