IAAPA EMEA Trade Summit Cancelled
IAAPA's European office announced today that the industry meeting planned for February has been cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic-related shutdown in European countries. The IAAPA EMEA Summit was originally scheduled to take place at Europa-Park in Rust, Germany, from 2 to 4 February, providing the international leisure industry with its first face-to-face opportunity after a long time working only in distance.
"We are disappointed that we have had to make this decision, but after careful review, and with significant input from members, exhibitors, and our team, we decided against coming together in February. As we continue to work through the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, IAAPA priority remains supporting our members in their efforts to reopen their facilities in spring," explained Jakob Wahl, Vice President IAAPA EMEA.
