IAAPA Expo Asia Singapore Kick Off

(eap) For its members from the Asian region, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) – back as an in-person event for the first time since 2019 – is hosting IAAPA Expo Asia in Singapore this week. The educational program supporting the event, again hosted at the luxury hotel Marina Bay Sands Singapore, kicks off tomorrow, with the trade show floor open to visitors from 14-16 June. More than 280 companies from over 30 countries and regions will be representing their latest technologies, developments, and services here on a net area of more than 7,000 square meters. Exhibiting companies include Attraktion!, Intamin, wiegand.waterrides, KristallTurm, Simtec Systems, Martin & Vleminckx, ETF Ride Systems, S&S Worldwide, WhiteWater, Gosetto, Triotech, Simworx, Sally Dark Rides, Extreme Engineering, Brogent Technologies, Zamperla, Gerstlauer Amusement Rides, SBF-Visa Group, Neveplast, Mack Rides, Lagotronics Projects, ProSlide and DOF Robotics.

The organizer highlights the “Opening Ceremony” as a special highlight, including an exclusive roundtable with association Chairman Jim Pattison, Jr., Andrew Bolstein (IAAPA Asia Pacific Advisory Committee), Jakob Wahl (IAAPA President & CEO) and June Ko (Executive Director & Vice President IAAPA Asia Pacific region) to discuss new trends, global challenges and innovative strategies in the leisure industry. Another key highlight at the Asian show will be the all-new “CEO Talk” featuring Darrell Metzger (industry innovator), Wuthichai Luangamornlert (Managing Director of Siam Park Bangkok), and Jim Pattison Jr. The “Opening Reception” will again be held at Universal Studios Singapore.

The show is aimed particularly at professionals and executives from theme and amusement parks, hotels and resorts, water parks, FECs, visitor attractions, museum and science centers, zoos and aquariums, and cruise lines. ■
