IMMERSIUM:WIEN Opens with Interactive “Jurassic“ Exhibition

(eap) Today sees the opening of a new interactive adventure museum in the heart of Vienna: IMMERSIUM:WIEN. On three floors and over 1,100 square meters of exhibition space, visitors can look forward to changing exhibitions that immerse them into fantastic worlds. Even the youngest guests will be able to acquire new knowledge in a playful way.
The kick-off exhibition “JURASSIC – The Immersive Experience™” is a 60 minutes long experience that brings giants like the Tyrannosaurus Rex, as well as lesser-known carnivores and herbivores, virtually to life. From digitally digging up fossils to feeding raptors, visitors can explore a total of eleven different zones. The highlight of the one-hour walkthrough experience is the 15-minute immersive show “Jurassic – The Gathering”, which uses 360-degree projection and an interactive floor to show the dinosaurs in their natural environment. The Austrian company Attraction! developed the IMMERSIUM:WIEN and is now operating the facility. ■
