ITB Berlin 2023: Meeting Place for the International Travel Industry

ITB Berlin 2023: Meeting Place for the International Travel Industry

Starting tomorrow, representatives of the international travel industry will meet in Berlin to learn and exchange ideas on the latest trends and developments in global tourism at the ITB (7-9 March 2023). It is the first time since the start of the pandemic that the ITB is back as a live event. The new concept of the world’s largest travel trade show also represents a premiere, as this is the first time it is being organized as a pure B2B tourism trade show and is thus, unlike in the past, open only to the trade public. A large number of exhibitors from over 180 countries will be presenting their products and services. The official guest country of ITB Berlin 2023 is Georgia.

To kick off ITB, the opening press conference will be held today at the Palais am Funkturm, where Messe Berlin Managing Director Dirk Hoffmann will provide an insight into the highlights planned for this year’s ITB Berlin. Under the motto “Open for Change”, current transformation processes in the global travel industry will be the focus of the leading trade show. International trends and topics are also to be discussed at the associated congress, which this year runs under the guiding principle of “Mastering Transformation”, with around 400 speakers and over 200 sessions.
