Immersive Wellbeing Experience for Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim

(eap) Following the successful introduction of the “Immersive Sky” at Therme Euskirchen last spring (“Forest Bathing – Lupuna”, c.f. EAP 3/2024), Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim, which is also operated by Germany’s Thermengruppe Josef Wund thermal spa group, is now also set to receive an immersive relaxation experience. This will not be identical to the attraction in Euskirchen, which has already won several awards, but will be a new offering in its own right. The development will also be based on modern technologies and promote the well-being of guests – the key concept here is “immersive wellbeing”. In a teaser video released today (watch here), Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim gives a foretaste of the upcoming new experience, which is once again being realised in collaboration with the artist collective Marshmallow Laser Feast.
“We firmly believe that immersive experiences have the power to touch us on a deeper level, give us peace of mind and enable lasting relaxation. That’s why we at the Josef Wund Thermal Spa Group are developing immersive places of well-being – without losing sight of the classic thermal spa experience,” explains Franz Hofstetter, CIO at Thermengruppe Josef Wund. Construction work on the new wellbeing experience in Sinsheim is due to begin shortly. ■
