Italy: Zamperla Equips Immersive Room for Children Therapy Centre

In a children therapy centre for mental illnesses located in Vicenza (Northern Italy), the Z+ technology division of manufacturer Zamperla has equipped an immersive experience room for children with (mental) disabilities, in which they can learn and relax by interacting with multimedia contents. The room, which is 16 square meters large, offers space for up to five kids at the same time. Projections on the walls can be chosen on different themes, such as animal characters, inviting kids to interact with the respective content. Z+ supplied both, the hardware (five projectors, surround sound, control system) and the software (content themes) for the project, which was realized in close cooperation with medical specialists and therapists.
