Jamaica: Appleton Estate Invites to Exclusive Rum Tour

As of October 2017, Appleton Estate, a rum distillery based on the Caribbean island of Jamaica, will offer a new rum experience named “Appleton Estate Rum Tour” to its guests. The project includes approx. 2,137 square meters (23,000 square feet) of new building construction, as well as an expansive outdoor tour of the Estate grounds, distillery and aging house that highlights the history, ingredients and process of crafting premium rum.

In addition to the outdoor exhibits, guests will also be able to enjoy an “Estate only” custom tasting experience, a restaurant and lounge area, photo opportunities and a retail store. US company Jack Rouse Associates is responsible for the complete planning, design and project management for this attraction, for which the ground breaking took place in December 2016. (eap)
