Jardin d’Acclimatation Announces Coaster Novelty for 2024
Earlier this month, the Jardin d’Acclimatation amusement park in Paris also started into its new season. In the run-up, one million euros were spent on maintenance and beautification work on the existing facilities. A new website was also launched. A total of 42 rides and attractions, 15 restaurants (including the all-new “La Terrasse du Jardin” restaurant), kiosks, food trucks, and three shops are available to visitors. Once again, the park has prepared an extensive program of events for the 2023 season, which will include concerts, exhibitions, parades, shows and cabaret activities, among others.
Next year, a new roller coaster will be added to the existing range of attractions (here: left: Speed Rockets, right: L\'Astrolable). © © sylvainbachelot Last but not least, the park announced a roller coaster novelty for next year: “Le Dragon”. This will be a model from German manufacturer Gerstlauer Amusement Rides, which, according to the park, will be unique in Europe with its forward and backward moving trains. At the same time, it will be the park’s largest coaster, which will reach speeds of more than 50 km/h. The two trains can accommodate up to 600 pph. The investment volume is cited at 8.5 million euros. (eap)
