Johannes Mock New Head of Stage Germany

Johannes Mock (43), former member of the board and new site search director at Merlin Entertainments Group (including Dungeons, SEA LIFE Centre, Madame Tussaud’s, Legoland parks, Heide-Park Soltau, Gardaland), will be taking over the business management of Stage Entertainment Germany effective 1 September 2008. Stage Entertainment is one of the world’s leading corporations in the area of musicals and live entertainment (including “The Lions King”, “Tarzan”, “Wicked–The Witches of Oz”, “Blue Man Group” and “Holiday on Ice”) and achieved a turnover of 600 million euros in the 2006/07 fiscal year with its over 5,000 employees. With 11 theatres, 2,000 employees and turnover of 382 million euros (2006/07), Stage Entertainment Germany, the German subsidiary of the Hamburg-based Dutch company Joop van den Ende, makes a considerable contribution to the corporate success of the entire group.
