Just Opened: “Ray Rush” at Aquatica Orlando
This past weekend, SeaWorld’s Aquatica water park in Orlando has launched its new “Ray Rush” hybrid slide, combining three different slide elements (cf. EAP news from October 13th, 2017). In multiple-person rafts, bathing guests start their adventure in a height of over 18 meters: The slide tour leads through an enclosed tube section, a colossal translucent sphere and another enclosed tube section, leading into an open-air halfpipe element. The halfpipe is connected with another tube section, ending up in a splash basin. The new attraction was supplied by Canada’s WhiteWater West company and replaces the “HooRoo Run” slide, which was permanently closed down in October 2017.
