Keynotes, Sessions, Virtual EDUTours – These Were the Highlights of IAAPA Virtual Conference: EMEA & APAC

In September, the international leisure industry was supposed to meet in London for this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe. However, the ongoing pandemic crisis forced the IAAPA EMEA to cancel its three-day trade show event. As an alternative education and networking resource for members, the team had organized a virtual conference for the EMEA and APAC regions, to which participants from all over world could connect online. The program included keynotes and sessions on current industry topics, virtual EDU tours and opportunities for networking with industry peers. Here we have summarized some of our highlights from the three-day virtual conference for you.
The IAAPA Expo in Orlando, originally planned for November, was officially cancelled last month and will also be “replaced” by a virtual education conference to be held from 16 to 18 November. Among the announced speakers for the event are Andreas Andersen (President & CEO, Liseberg), Josh D’Amaro (Chairman, Disney Parks, Experiences & Products) and Sarah Cole (President & CEO, Glazer Children’s Museum).
