Kleinwelka / Saxony: Dinosaur Park Opens Water Playground

The Dinosaur Park in Kleinwelka near Bautzen, Germany will see the construction start of an around 350-square meter large water playground area at the end of September. It will open for the 2011 season. Several different water play elements will be integrated into an artificial crater landscape of black basalt in order to fit into the theming of geology and natural history. The park will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year with many events and festivals. 200,000 visitors come to the facility every year. (eap)
