Lappset Group with New Managing Director

On 21 January 2014, Tero Ylinenpää (born in 1966, pictured) has been appointed new managing director of the Finnish Lappset Group Ltd. by the company’s board of directors. He follows his predecessor, Juha Laakkonen, who had stepped down at the beginning of January. Previously, Tero Ylinenpää worked as Lappset’s deputy managing director during the past six years and he has gained an extensive experience in international sales and other leadership positions in developing the business during more than 20 years of work within the company. A new business strategy and further changes in the management of Lappset are supposed to strengthen the company’s development especially in terms of customer focus. Therefore, three new business divisions have been introduced: “International Business Divison” (exports of playground and sports equipment), “Domestic Business Division” (all business functions in Finland) and “Themed Activity Centers’ Business Division”.
