Legoland Florida Opened World of Chima

The Legoland park in Winter Haven, FL, opened its newest theme area on July 3. “The Lego World of Chima” (cp. EAP news from 8 April 2013), presented in cooperation with Cartoon Network, adds two million Lego bricks to the park which nearly features a total of 150 Lego models. The centerpiece attraction of the new area is the interactive water ride “The Quest for CHI” supplied by Mack Rides. The ride caters for kids and adults alike and can accommodate up to 1,200 pph. As a refreshing cooling down is always welcome under the sun of Florida, the new “Cragger’s Swamp play area” will probably enjoy great popularity as well. At the “Speedorz Arena”, fans of this special game will enjoy a super-fast competition with multiple players. Of course visitors will be able to also meet the Chima characters within the new theme area. All of the new Chima themed attractions and activities have already been promoted since April at “The Lego Chima Movie Experience” shown at the “Fargo 4D Theater” in the park’s Fun Town area. “The World of Chima will become a signature land for Legoland Florida and provides an experience unlike any other in our park today,” said Adrian Jones, Legoland Florida General Manger.
