Miniature World Madurodam: Works of Art Coming to Life

(eap) Art enthusiasts can now explore a new themed area namend "De Hollandse Meesters" at the miniature world Madurodam in The Hague. With interactive applications and miniature buildings, Madurodam teaches guests all about Dutch history and culture. As of this month, this also includes knowledge about famous Dutch artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Piet Mondriaan, Judith Leyster and Rembrandt van Rijn.
Young and old alike can immerse themselves in art in the truest sense of the word. They can jump through paintings, into a starry ball pool under Van Gogh’s Starry Night, or dance in the middle of Leyster’s tulips. Jora Vision was responsible for the design, concept and development of the new interactive exhibition. For the construction, Madurodam also collaborated with Rotterdam-based Tukker Architecten and masonry company Metselbedrijf Westerman. ■
