Movie Park Germany Welcomes its 25 Millionth Visitor
Last Thursday, 22nd of May 2014, Movie Park Germany in Bottrop-Kirchhellen has welcomed its 25 millionth visitor since the park’s opening back in 1996 under the name of Warner Bros. Movie World. The Frenk family, the parents and their two daughters, were received by CEO Wouter Dekkers together with popular TV and cinema characters such as SpongeBob and Patrick, Diego and Dora, Sid from Ice Age and the Turtles. A basket full of gifts including a trip to Spain’s Parque Warner Madrid theme park as well as season passes for the current and the next season at Movie Park Germany was handed over to the family. In addition, the park will donate 2,500 Euros to charity. (eap)
