Netherlands: Watergames & More Founder Paul van den Berg Retires

After 14 years, company founder Paul van den Berg, co-owner and commercial director of water playground equipment specialist Watergames & More, has retired today.

Based in the Dutch municipality of Zoetermeer, not far from The Hague, the family-owned company has become a successful supplier of water playgrounds in recent years, primarily in the Dutch and German-speaking areas. Watergames & More offers turnkey water attractions such as spray parks, water slides, climbing walls for swimming pools, inflatable obstacle courses and fully themed water playgrounds, and is the exclusive distributor of Waterplay products in the Benelux and German-speaking Europe. For a few years now, the company has also been implementing water slide projects under its own brand.

In order to secure the future of his company in the long term, Paul van den Berg introduced some time ago his two sons Odmar (co-owner, execution & partnerships) and Karsten (co-owner, finance department & strategy) to the management, who have already been successfully running the company for several years now. In the future, Paul van den Berg will continue to provide his company advisory support.
