Netherlands: iPlay Water Attractions Adds New Water Park Experiences to Marveld Recreatie Holiday Park

The family-friendly Marveld Recreatie holiday park, located in the Dutch Gelderland-region, offers its guests a range of entertainment and sports activities as well as an indoor and outdoor pool facility. The waterpark will now be enhanced with new attractions from Dutch manufacturer iPlay Water Attractions, which are scheduled to open for visitors in spring 2021.

The highlight of the development will be the “Wild River“ – a new whitewater river course, which will start at the height of four metres in the indoor pool area and will then run outside the facility before ending back indoors. Around 2.000 cubic metres of water will be pumped through the river every hour to create a real whitewater experience. The family-friendly, more than 100-metre-long experience will be in operation all year round thanky to its indoor start and landing pool area. iPlay will also supply three new slide systems: a space bowl, a family slide and a speed slide. In addition, a 350 square metre-large spray park with numerous water play elements will be created. (eap)
