New Attractions to Discover at Ravensburger Spieleland
(eap) Ravensburger Spieleland on Lake Constance in Germany officially starts into its new season tomorrow. Visitors were already able to discover the new attractions in the park last weekend as part of a soft opening. These included the new “woom bike area”, an area where children between the ages of one and a half to five can whizz around a practice course on balance bikes and bicycles. There are 20 woom® balance bikes in two sizes as well as several bikes with pedals. At the end, the kids receive a bike license.
In the extended “EnBW Energy World”, children can learn about several forms of renewable energy generation such as wind power and solar energy. In addition to a real dam, young visitors can explore a wind turbine or a solar panel in more detail. If the explorers turn the crank of the wind turbine, for example, the energy generated becomes visible in the new playhouse opposite. And an solar panel provides electricity for a charging station, which can then be used to charge a play car. In this way, the children are given an understanding of renewable energy generation both via information boards and in a playful way.
Also, there is a new accommodation option for visitors. Six new Swedish cabins offer space for up to five people each. A cozy seating area with a games table invites guests to linger in the evening. Ravensburger Spieleland also has a new mascot: “Lotti Karotti”, the rabbit from the children’s game of the same name, can be met every day in the park and the family free-fall tower now also features the design of the board game. Furthermore, the Bundesliga soccer club 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 is now a cooperation partner of the leisure park, that’s why the existing soccer pitch, goal-kicking facility and goal wall now shine in the club’s red and blue colors.
Ravensburger Spieleland has also already announced a new attraction for next season. In summer 2025, the detective game “Scotland Yard” will be brought to life. In the interactive attraction, young and old will become Scotland Yard detectives themselves and follow strangers on a chase through London. The new ride will be built on the site of the current “Billy Biber Alpine Rafting”. The conversion work is due to start in September. ■
