New Members Join Sally Corp. Board of Directors
US-based Sally Corporation, known for the development and manufacturing of dark ride attractions (cp. EAP, issue 2/2014), welcomed two new members to the company’s board of directors recently: Tom Wages, veteran of the parks and attractions industry (left) and Todd Gillrup, Vice President of Operations at Sally Corp. (right). “We are very fortunate that Tom […] is willing to serve on our board. He has a tremendous wealth of knowledge and expertise in all areas of the parks and attractions industry that he is willing to share, and we are very much looking forward to his input,” says Sally CEO John Wood. During his career Tom Wages held various management positions within the industry and he served, for instance, as president of The Great Espace in Lake George (NY), as general manager of Lake Compounce (CT) or on the board of Kennywood Entertainment Corporation. Todd Gillrup joined Sally Corp. in 1992 and currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations. “Todd is keenly involved in each and every project Sally undertakes, from the initial evaluation through its implementation on the shop floor. His insight into the inner workings of the company and its operational and production capabilities will add a unique perspective to the board’s dialogue,” Wood notes. (eap)
