Plettenberg/Germany: AquaMagis with New Pirates’ Ship Attraction

In December of last year saw the launch of a new children’s attraction at Plettenberg, Germany’s AquaMagis bathing and swimming pool complex. After ten years of operation, the former pirates’ ship was replaced by a new, state-of-the-art one. The merely ten meter long ship was built and delivered by Aqua Drolics from The Netherlands. The total investment for the ship is cited at around 100,000 Euros. It’s also pleasing to see that AquaMagis was able to increase its visitor numbers in 2013. With 413,000 guests in total, the facility could not only surpass the expected level, but even set a new record in visitor numbers. (eap)
