Pratteln/Switzerland: aquabasilea Celebrates 5th Anniversary
In March 2010, the aquabasilea wellness and leisure complex located in Pratteln, near Basel, opened its doors to visitors for the first time. Last Saturday the water world celebrated its 5th anniversary with numerous attractions and a jubilee gala event. In the last five years the bathing and wellness facility has evolved into a true visitor attraction, which welcomes around 450,000 visitors annually. aquabasilea is owned by two real estate investment elements of Credit Suisse AG – CSA Real Estate Switzerland (water world) and CS REF PropertyPlus (hotel Courtyard by Marriott, retail space, office buildings and parking lots). According to CEO Michael Atassi, this year will see the renovation of the gastronomy and the creation of an Arabic coffee bar in the hamam area of aquabasilea. (eap)
