Raving Rabbids to Get Their Own Movie

The “Raving Rabbids”, the crazy small rabbits created by French computer game producer and publisher Ubisoft, are currently on the rise. They recently have taken over France’s Futuroscope theme park (we reported on this in EAP, issue 2/2014) and are now going to be on the big screen as well. Ubisoft and Sony Pictures Entertainment, a subsidiary of Sony Entertainment, which in turn is a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Sony Corporation, are partnering to develop the full-length feature film on the Rabbids. The crazy rabbits, originating from the jump-and-run game Rayman, have been shown on TV since last year. (eap)
