Simtec Welcomes New Director Business Development
(eap) The Braunschweig (Germany)-based company Simtec Systems welcomes Alexander Bresinsky as its new Director Business Development.
Bresinsky brings with him a broad range of experience in the leisure industry: Back in 1986 – parallel to his studies in technical theater and entertainment technology – Bresinsky founded LichtWerk, a company for laser show technology. After working with Disney’s visual effects company Dream Quest Images (later The Secret Lab), among others, Bresinsky focused on the themed entertainment sector. With his company flying saucer, he worked as a creative producer and consultant in the field of attraction design and engineering for various parks. Most recently, Bresinsky was Head of Business Development and a member of the Executive Board at MKTengineering. Bresinsky also served as Director of the European Board of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) for over a decade.
With his recent appointment at Simtec, Bresinsky is now returning to his “roots” in ride technology. “I’m now diving deeper into the world of ride technology which I love. Simtec is an exceptional and wonderful company I have been associated with for decades. My first meeting with Simtec was already 30 years ago in Los Angeles,“ he is looking forward to the new challenge. “Motion rides and motion simulation were the start of my career, and the engineering required for this has always fascinated me. I am very happy to now continue on this path together with Simtec,“ he states.
Simtec CEO Andreas Stickel warmly welcomes Bresinsky to the Simtec team: “I am happy that Alexander is joining our group. He brings extensive experience and technical expertise to our global team. He has acted many years in similar senior roles and has a strong network within the entertainment industry. Welcome on board!“ ■
