Slick City Action Park Begins Offering Indoor Slide Park Franchises

(eap) In 2021, Bron Launsby, entrepreneur and board member of the International Adventure and Trampoline Parks Association, and Gary Schmit, inventor of the “Slick Slide” (a dry slide based on innovative slide technology), co-founded the “Slick City” indoor leisure center in the US. Slick City describes itself as a “waterless water park”. At the heart of a Slick City indoor park (of which there are already further destinations today) are various slides that are reminiscent of water slide models and promise an almost frictionless slide experience also similar to that of a water slide.

So far, the company operates a total of three locations: in Denver (CO), St. Louis (MO) and Houston (TX) – another one is scheduled to open soon in Phoenix (AZ). Slick City plans to grant at least thirty protected franchise territories in the US in 2024. Eight openings (both franchise and corporate locations) are planned to open by the end of this year – with even more to follow in 2025.
