Smart Rides and Metallbau Emmeln Start Cooperation

(eap) Smart Rides – the specialist office for amusement rides and leisure attractions founded in 2008 by Ralf Caspar, whose partner network includes the German rollercoaster manufacturer Gerstlauer Amusement Rides, the Dutch company Lagotronics (interactive technologies) and wooden playground construction company Ghepetto – will in future also represent Metallbau Emmeln products from the company’s leisure attraction’s division.
These include family rides such as rail-guided miniature railroads (e.g. “classics” such as riding and tractor tracks) as well as slides and climbing facilities. Thanks to the cooperation with the Emsland-based company, which has now been on the market for over 55 years (read also our anniversary report in EAP 1/2019) and is also active in the container industry as well as in the field of ticketing and access systems in addition to the leisure industry, Caspar is expanding the sales portfolio of its specialist office with products that are specially designed for the family audience with small children, while Gerstlauer’s major attractions are both family-friendly roller coasters and thrill rides. This means that customer requests of many kinds can now be met.
The sales partnership between Smart Rides and Metallbau Emmeln covers the main part of Europe. ■
