Swarovski Kristallwelten See Growing Attendance
(eap) The Swarovski Kristallwelten experience world in Wattens, Austria – compromising a park, an art museum, a shop and a restaurant dedicated to the Swarovski brand – is taking a positive balance in terms of visitor numbers after this summer. By the end of the year, the destination expects a visitor volume of 500,000 guests. This corresponds to about 75 percent of the attendance level before the COVID-19 pandemic. Besides to Austria and Germany, the main countries where Swarovski Kristallwelten welcomes visitors from include Italy. But also, the number of guests from distant markets has increased. For example, more visitors from India and the Middle East were recorded.
This year's highlight event was once again the circus festival in cooperation with the Circus Theater Roncalli, which took place for the fifth time at Swarosvski Kristallwelten. But visitors can also look forward to a special event this fall: from October 26 to November 5, 2023, the destination will shine under the sign of glamour and horror. In a riddle rally, visitors can discover different customs around Halloween from all over the world. Also, guests are invited to visit the open studio, where they can create their own Halloween masks, or drop in on masquerade balls in the play tower. ■
