Switzerland: Holiday Village in the Signs of the Times

The Schweizer Reisekasse Genossenschaft (Reka) and the traditional Swiss watch manufacturer Tissot (a company of the Swatch Group) have entered into a cooperation to develop a new tourism concept for the existing Reka holiday village in Montfaucon/Canton of Jura “in the signs of the time”. The refurbished holiday village now stands out with a “clock tower” and a crazy golf facility in the design of a dial. Furthermore, a newly constructed playground offers fancy play elements in a watch design, inviting kids to discover more. Meanwhile, parents can relax in the wellness area including aroma bathing offers and massages.

The holiday village in Montfaucon currently counts 33 holiday homes with a total of 200 beds, generating a maximum year capacity of 30,000 overnight stays. Reka is going to invest four million Francs (approx. 3.7 million Euros) into the community house and the construction of twelve new holiday homes until 2020. (eap)
