(eap) Good news from the Pullman City Western-themed park located in Eging am See (Bavaria, Germany): after the major fire a few weeks ago, which destroyed around a third of the park’s popular Main Street, the popular western town is set to reopen its doors soon. On Saturday, April 13, 2024, the park will host the “Camper Saloon” event, followed by a number of further special day openings as originally planned (including a “Family Sunday” on April 21). From April 26 to 28, the official start of the season will then take place with a line dance special and dance workshops.

In order to be able to offer guests in Pullman City a special Western experience again this year despite the devastating fire, the park team has come up with ingenious temporary solutions to replace the catering areas that are no longer available. For example, there will be a kind of trapper’s hut to replace the Black Bison Saloon, where breakfast, burgers and much more will be served. A small stage for live music is also planned. The indoor riding arena, which was fortunately spared by the fire, is to be dismantled. In its place, an enclosed building of similar dimensions will be erected to temporarily replace the music hall. The building will then be converted into a modern indoor riding arena. The catering services of the previous Mexican restaurant and steakhouse will also be integrated here for the time being. A replacement stage for live music and a spacious replacement dance floor for line dancers, boogie woogie enthusiasts, rock’n rollers and the like are also being planned.

“We are a motivated team with strong partners, the Pullman City family is unique, the team spirit is great and together we will tackle everything,” comments Claus Six, who runs Pullman City as Managing Partner together with Ernst Grünberger, with great confidence. Around 400,000 visitors come to the Bavarian “Wild West” every year to enjoy the authentic cowboy and western town feeling. ■
