(eap) Last Saturday (8 July), France’s Cobac Parc, located between Rennes and Saint-Malo, was able to inaugurate its great novelty of the season: the “Tour Excalibur”. The 20-meter high attraction is a free fall tower equipped with twelve seats, supplied by the Italian manufacturer SBF Visa. The attraction was placed in the “Fairy Tales and Legends” themed area of the park and brings to life the legend of King Arthur – the tower is supposed to represent the mythical sword Excalibur. After going up to the top and then “free falling”, the gondola moves up and down several times and can also spin. Those who want to ride must be at least 1.05 meters tall and accompanied, from 1.30 meters height it is possible to ride alone.

Cobac Parc is part of the portfolio of the French Looping Group, which currently operates a total of 18 leisure, water and animal parks in eight European countries and welcomes around 6.2 million visitors a year. ■
