UAE: Dubai Parks & Resorts Full Steam Ahead

Following the opening of Dubai’s IMG World of Adventure this summer, mid-December saw the complete opening of Dubai Parks and Resorts. The 2.9 million square meter (30.6 million square feet) large theme park complex features LEGOLAND^® Dubai, Bollywood Parks^TM Dubai, Motiongate^TM Dubai and Riverland^TM Dubai (cf. EAP news from February 24^th, 2016).

The offer includes three separate theme parks and a water park as well as a uniquely themed dining and retail district. Furthermore, the Lapita^TM Hotel, operated by Marriott Autograph Collection, is a Polynesian-themed family hotel for those guests who wish to stay overnight. The investment volume of Dubai Parks & Resorts amounts to 3.3 billion Euros (2.8 billion British Pounds). (eap)
