UAE: Legoland Water Park Coming to Dubai

Currently under development, Legoland Dubai, which will open in 2016 as part of the Dubai Parks and Resorts leisure and entertainment destination (cp. EAP news from Oct 17, 2014), will be joined by a Legoland Water Park. A wave pool and the very popular Build-A-Raft River will be among the water park’s attractions lineup. “We are committed to offering unforgettable experiences for guests of all ages at Dubai Parks and Resorts. We are therefore very pleased to partner with Merlin Entertainments to bring this unique water park concept to the UAE as an exciting new element to the LEGOLAND Dubai theme park. Scheduled to open in October 2016, Dubai Parks and Resorts targets over 6.7 million ticketed visits in 2017, its first full year of operation. (eap)
