UAE: Yas Bay Waterfront in Abu Dhabi Now Open
Since yesterday, Abu Dhabi residents and tourists have been able to explore the new “Yas Bay Waterfront” entertainment and retail mile on Yas Island. Part of this new waterfront is the three kilometer long “Pier71” boardwalk with twelve different entertainment, dining and leisure options. During a walk along the Arabian Gulf coast visitors can also admire exclusive artworks influenced by local culture, history, environment and architecture. Throughout the entire month of December, the opening of Yas Bay Waterfront will be celebrated with shows, events and fireworks on weekends.
Gurjit Singh, Chief Portfolio Officer at the development company Miral, said: “The opening of Yas Bay Waterfront is another proud milestone for Yas Island. This new development supports our vision for Yas Island to become a global destination for entertainment, leisure and business, as well as an attractive location for partnerships and investment opportunities. We are looking forward to welcoming residents and visitors to Yas Bay Waterfront to enjoy the exceptional experiences and distinctive international concepts on offer.”
The Yas Bay Waterfront was developed as part of Miral’s four billion AED (approx. 960 million EUR) investment into a comprehensive master plan for Yas Bay, the leisure district of Yas Island. (eap)
