UK: Chessington World of Adventures Expands Accommodation Offer with New Hotel

The park season at England’s Chessington World of Adventures Resort will already start on 19 March 2014 – with new attractions for visitors to discover. “Scorpion Express” is a brand new ride which will replace the former “Runaway Train” ride within the Mexicana theme area. “AMAZU Treetop Adventure” is the name of the new play zone which is set amongst the habitats of real life animals and will give visitors the opportunity to play and climb amongst monkeys and other animals. Major investment and expansion measure (14 million GBP, about 16.8 million EUR) will of course be the launch of the new “Azteca Hotel”, a fully themed resort hotel with 69 themed rooms and a new splash water play zone. A fully themed restaurant will give guests the opportunity to observe monkeys or fish. (eap)
