UK: New London Paramount Theme Park Resort Likely to Feature British Animation Figures

The new entertainment resort “London Paramount”, which is planned to be built near London (we reported on this in our EAP news from January 29, 2015), is likely to also feature well-known British animation characters alongside iconic Hollywood characters from Paramount Pictures. By the end of February, London Resort Company Holdings Ltd. (LRCH), the company behind the multi-billion pound project in North Kent, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Aardman Animations Ltd. to feature their intellectual property at the theme park resort. This would mean that famous animation characters such as “Wallace & Gromit” or “Shaun The Sheep” could possibly be integrated at the resort, which is scheduled for an Easter 2020 opening. (eap)
