UK: World Premiere for Angry Birds 4D Experience at Thorpe Park

England’s Thorpe Park Resort will present a world premiere opening in May 2014: As the centerpiece of a totally new fully-themed land featuring the much loved Angry Birds characters, the world’s first “Angry Birds 4D Experience” will wow visitors of the theme park. The existing drop tower ride “Detonator” and a brand new dodgems attraction will be part of the new 4,000 square meter large land. The 10-minute-4D experience is being jointly developed by Finland’s Rovio Entertainment Ltd., creator of the Angry Birds franchise, and 3DBA. Known for their expertise in the design, development and manufacturing of 3D/4D attractions, Simworx will develop the infrastructure of the new 4D theatre. (eap)
