USA: “Riptide Race“ Duelling Racer Water Slide to Debut at Aquatica Orlando in 2020
Sea World’s Aquatica waterpark in Orlando will provide guests with an all-new water slide experience in 2020. The “Riptide Race“ will be a duelling race water slide (from ProSlide), which will provide guests with the opportunity to race each other. Slide enthusiasts will start their competition in two person rafts on a height of around 20 metres (68 feet). In the partly open and partly closed sliding track of almost 200 metres (650 feet) length, the racers will navigate through tight loops and acceleration sections. Sliders will experience a face-to-face adventure thanks to sections with a low level boarder between the tracks.
“Riptide Race will offer a ride experience you won’t be able to get anywhere else in Florida. Aquatica will be the first waterpark in the state to have a thrilling, and more importantly, a dueling water slide. Riptide Race is the perfect addition to our attraction portfolio, complementing what is already one of the most family friendly waterslide lineups in Orlando,“ says David Heaton, Vice President of Aquatica Orlando.
