USA: FoxNext and Marvel Entertainment Develop New Mobile Game
As recently announced by FoxNext Games (a FoxNext division), the Los Angeles-based Aftershock studio, which has been acquired by FoxNext in June 2017, is developing a new action-RPG (= role-playing game) in cooperation with Marvel Entertainment, as the new mobile game will be based on popular Marvel IPs, featuring an exciting storyline and impressive visuals. “The Aftershock Los Angeles team, led by Amir Rahimi, is developing an explosive action mobile game set in the Marvel Universe that will feature an innovative game design with stunning graphics […],” said Aaron Loeb, President of Studios for FoxNext Games.
With the acquisition of Aftershock back in June this year, FoxNext pursues its on-going strategy to develop industry-leading interactive experiences across mobile, console/PC games, virtual and augmented reality and location-based entertainment. Also, James Finn has recently been named new Executive Vice President of FoxNext (cf. EAP news from June 29th, 2017). (eap)
