USA: Hersheypark with Two New “Jolly Rancher“ Rides as of Summer

Colorful and sweet, these are “Jolly Rancher“ hard candies in the tastes of blue raspberry, green apple, cherry, grape and watermelon by candy manufacturer The Hershey Company. This year, two new “Jolly Rancher“-themed attractions will be added to the ride portfolio of Pennsylvania-located Hersheypark. One of them will be the “Jolly Rancher Remix“ rollercoaster, which is not a new installation but an extensive redesign of the former “Sidewinder“ boomerang coaster by Vekoma opened in 1991. Special about the new experience will be that the 90-seconds-long rides will be dedicated to the different tastes and will be intensified by matching sound, light and scent effects. Additionally, a new family ride of the “NebulaZ“ type by Zamperla will be offered to guests as well under the name of “Mix’d Flavored By Jolly Rancher“. Both attractions will be available as of summer and are planned to be operating all-year-round – Hersheypark’s season starts on 2 April. (eap)
