USA: Loveland Living Planet Aquarium to Offer New 4D Experiences
Opened in 2014 in Draper, Utah, Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is dedicated to inspiring people about biodiversity, conservation and animal welfare. More than 4,000 animals in 650 species have found a home here, where more than seven million visitors have been welcomed since the opening. To educate its guests about the beauty and, at the same time, the endangerment of the ecosystems on this planet, the aquarium utilizes modern visual, audible and sensory technologies, such as a 4D theater supplied by MediaMation Inc.
Now, the California-based company was commissioned, according to its own statement, with the installation of 64 MX4D® Motion EFX seats, and two Motion Floors with an immersive VR system. The Motion Floors will also be accessible for guests with limited physical abilities. The new attraction is due to open in the third quarter of this year. (eap)
