USA: New “The Great LEGO® Race VR Experience“ Enthuses Visitors at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston
Visitors to LEGOLAND® Discovery Center in Boston/Massachusetts are now able to enjoy a new VR attraction dubbed “The Great LEGO® Race VR Experience” to participate in a virtual LEGO race. Guests sit down on motion chairs in so-called VR pods (each pod counts two motion chairs) – as soon as they have donned the VR headsets, the virtual experience begins. Especially designed for kids aged three to ten years, a high image resolution and sound effects round off the new visitor offer.
The VR attraction was developed by England’s Immotion company: “[…] We are proud of the immersive technology behind the pod and we believe it will boost the great family fun already on offer. This is arguably Immotion’s highest-profile VR experience so far and shows that out-of-home VR is increasingly becoming a major part of the worldwide attractions and experiences industry,” commented Martin Higginson, Executive Chairman of Immotion.
