USA: No Limits for Creativity – LEGOLAND Florida Opens “Planet LEGOLAND“ Building Experience
On Friday, LEGOLAND® Florida celebrated the opening of its new interactive building experience “Planet LEGOLAND“. Children as well as their parents are now able to unleash their creativity and build phantastic LEGO® brick sculptures at four stations which are each dedicated to a theme: “Dragons, Knights and Princesses“, “Vehicles“, “Ninjas“ and “Creatures and Animals“. When a sculpture or building has been finished it can the placed on the central LEGO planet “to help rebuild the world“, according to the park. Also, a DUPLO® station has been implemented for the youngest visitors.
“During the past twelve months, we’ve all learned how resilient and creative our children are. They can play out stories, discover details and feel the sense of accomplishment when they build and play with LEGO. With Planet LEGOLAND, there are no rules, just unlimited creativity, empowering children to make the world a brighter place,“ says Rex Jackson, president of LEGOLAND Florida Resort.
Safety guidelines at Planet LEGOLAND include wearing a face mask while playing, the use of hand sanitizer and reduced capacity. Additionally, the building stations are frequently sanitized and all LEGO bricks will be sanitized as well and will be “quarantined“ for 72 hours after that. Planet LEGOLAND will also be introduced to other international LEGOLAND destinations throughout spring and summer this year. (eap)
