Rich Hill, long-time employee at Sally Dark Rides, most recently as Creative Director, has now been promoted to Chief Creative Officer of the US company. The industrial design graduate has worked for the Jacksonville/Florida-based theme ride specialist for over 23 years, where he has been instrumental in the creation and implementation of many custom-built attractions, including, for example, “Sesame Street: Street Mission” at PortAventura World (Spain) and “Justice League: Battle for Metropolis” at numerous Six Flags parks (in the US), both of which have been recognized with a “Thea Award”.

“Rich has been a true example of talent rising to the occasion time and time again. He has been a loyal employee for over 23 years. Starting in the art finish department, Rich grabbed the creative gauntlet and has led the way in our development of the mixed-media attraction and excelled in its cultivation and presentation,” says John Wood, Chairman & CEO, Sally Dark Rides.

With more than 30 years of experience in design and art production, Rich Hill is also a professional sculptor, illustrator, writer, and moviemaker. (eap)
