USA: Schlitterbahn Kansas City Aims to Open Tallest Waterslide in the World this Summer

 “To plummet down the equivalent of a drop from a 17 story building” – is the description of the experience riders will make on the reportedly tallest, fastest and steepest waterslide in the world, which is coming to Kansas this summer. The new Meg-a-Blaster waterslide called “Verrückt” (German for insane) is currently being built at Schlitterbahn Kansas City and is scheduled to be opened during the 2014 season beginning on May 23. According to the park, the new attraction combines elements of Schlitterbahn’s patented uphill water coaster Master Blaster™ technology with the drop of a speed slide. (eap)
