USA: Universal Studios Hollywood Elevate Harry Potter Ride to the Next Level

The highly acclaimed “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” thrill ride which opened last year in the new Harry Potter theme area at Universal Studios Hollywood (c.f. EAP news from April 7^th, 2016), recently saw a make-over in terms of a new 4K-HD state-of-the-art imagery projecting system. Thanks to the new technological equipment, the ride film is now projected at a rate of 120 frames-per-second, offering guests an even more immersive glimpse into J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world.

The attraction’s storyline, starting at iconic “Hogwarts” castle, will remain unchanged: Riders dip into some of the most memorable movie scenes alongside Harry, Ron and Hermione, including a thrilling “Quidditch” match and an encounter with the feared “Dementors”. (eap)
